The challenge here was to create a digital experience that translated well across multiple devices and screen sizes. I felt as though a responsive website would provide a greater user-experience for a larger more diverse target audience. The site needed to be compelling but simple so it wouldn't be a distraction from the real beauty of the film, the content. The use of large compelling imagery with large type would peak immediate interest from the user plus tease them about what to expect. Check the Rhyme is currently in production. When I began working on this, my goal was to create an experience that focused on the user. I thought large imagery and the copy would allow for a rich user experience that was limited in distractions. With a majority of users using their mobile devices versus their desktops, I thought the mobile experience had to be just as compelling.
